The workshop will cover (a) history of design automation particularly for microfluidics (b) current theory, approaches, and technologies used for microfluidic design automation (c) 3D printing applications to microfluidics, (d) our proposed open source method for automated design and manufacturing of microfluidic chips using 3D printing, including highly complex microfluidic chips
